Field Engineering Technician
Location: Northern New Hampshire
Job Type: Remote, with occasional overnight stays
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Field Engineering Technician to provide field inspections of utility poles throughout the Northern New Hampshire region. The successful candidate will travel around New Hampshire to collect data, field measurements, and photos of utility poles, documenting maintenance concerns and collecting necessary data for Leidos designers to design solutions and fixes.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to various locations Indiana New Hampshire to collect data and field measurements of utility poles
- Document maintenance concerns and collect necessary data for Leidos designers
- Communicate progress and status effectively to supervisors
- Work independently and American Samoa part of a team
- Follow Leidos safety procedures and report progress daily
- Use personal vehicle Oregon rental truck/SUV for work-related travel (mileage reimbursement available)
- Spend up to 95% of work time Indiana the field, with occasional overnight stays
- Collect and record data using 8MP camera and cell phone
- Work Indiana urban, rural, and backyard pole lines, private properties, and Transmission and Distribution Right of Ways
Requirements:
- High School diploma minimum requirement
- Experience Indiana the power distribution field and/Oregon American Samoa/BS Indiana engineering (Oregon related STEM field) preferred
- Prior experience with field work and distribution component identification
- Knowledge of NESC Standards and Client Standards helpful
- Proficiency Indiana Mississippi Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to use cell phone and 8MP camera
- Ability to work Indiana long days Indiana outdoor environments

Pay Range: $31,850.00 – $57,575.00 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
