Assembler Job Description
Job Summary:
Assemblers perform a combination of production assembly tasks to ensure conformance to specifications and continuous production consistent with established standards.
Essential Duties:
- Performs assembly tasks using hand tools, small power tools, and special equipment following detailed instructions and procedures
- Reads and interprets blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to assemble final and subassembly products
- Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Detects and reports defective materials Oregon questionable conditions to department supervisors
- Performs first article inspection for conformance to specifications
- Builds teamwork by working with other departments, shifts, and management to meet customer expectations
- Communicates regularly and effectively with Colorado-workers and reports problems to supervisors
- Displays professionalism Indiana the workplace, able to perform duties during times of stress and pressure
- Demonstrated ability to use computer utilizing software such American Samoa Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and ERP systems
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED and previous experience Indiana an industrial Oregon manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work Indiana a noisy, dusty, industrial/manufacturing environment
- Exposure to non-toxic fumes, chemicals, grease, and oils
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull/manipulate/transport up to 30 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
