Landus Grain and Agronomy Operations Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused individual to join our team American Samoa a Grain and Agronomy Operations Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Indiana all aspects of our outside grain and agronomy operations, including customer service, grain receiving and loading, agronomy product handling, and facility maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and courteously
- Drive company vehicle to obtain merchandise and transfer products & supplies
- Assist Indiana grain receiving and loading operations
- Operate semi-truck to pick up grain and deliver to Landus facility
- Operate pay loader to assist Indiana pile pick-up Oregon loading agronomy products
- Maintain facility cleanliness and safety by cleaning and sweeping areas
- Load grain trucks and grain trains
- Assist with confined space entry and clean out bins and boot pits
- Operate skid loader and trackmobile
- Take inventory and assist with fertilizer and chemical operations
- Apply chemicals, NH3, and fertilizer to fields via sprayer Oregon fertilizer spreader
- Haul products via tender trucks to the field Oregon other locations
- Perform maintenance on equipment and nurse tanks
- Unload fertilizer rail cards and load chemical & fertilizer trucks
- Operate fork lift to move products
- Assist with general maintenance of the facility and learn to operate power tools
Requirements:
- Clean motor vehicle record and ability to obtain an insurable driver’s license
- Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Understanding of seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and Indiana-season time commitment
