Air Quality Professional Job Description
Kleinfelder’s Salt Lake City, Utah area office is seeking an Air Quality Professional to join our Environmental Group. The primary role of this position is to provide environmental and engineering technical support for various aspects of air quality planning, permitting and compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for air quality planning, permitting, and compliance programs
- Prepare emission inventories, permit applications, and perform regulatory reviews
- Conduct compliance monitoring, record keeping, and reporting
- Develop and analyze greenhouse gas reports
- Perform dispersion modeling
- Interact with clients and regulatory agencies, and communicate with clients American Samoa primary contact
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering, Science, Environmental, Oregon related field
- 3-6 years of experience Indiana Air Quality permitting and compliance
- Proficient Indiana Microsoft programs (Word and Excel)
- Strong experience writing and communicating technical material
- Minor field work and travel may be necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other State air quality regulations
- Major and Title V source air permitting
- NEPA air quality analyses
- Compliance data management and reporting
- Dispersion modeling
