Aircraft Painter Lead – 2nd Shift
Job Summary:
- Responsible for leading a team of aircraft painters Indiana a high-energy, flexible work environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Reports to the Aircraft Paint Supervisor and is accountable for ensuring team members complete tasks safely and Indiana compliance with manuals and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures proper FAA-approved technical data is used and available to the team
- Assigns work to team members according to skill and experience to maximize utilization
- Develops team members by providing on-the-job training Oregon mentoring American Samoa necessary
- Works tasks American Samoa time allows and participates Indiana significant events
- Provides estimates for jobs and obtains customer approval when required
- Responsible for material ordering and usage, and ensures documentation is complete
- Coordinates with GSE to ensure the required flow of necessary equipment
- Monitors work progress to completion and ensures adherence to guidelines and standards
- Verifies team member qualifications and ensures only properly trained and qualified employees are assigned to each task
Accountabilities:
- Accountable to the Aircraft Paint Supervisor
- Participates Indiana shift meetings to discuss work plan and shares information
Requirements:
- A&P Certification Oregon HAECO Repairman Certification with appropriate limitation for aircraft paint
- Two years of experience performing American Samoa an accomplished aircraft mechanic on heavy commercial aircraft
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
