Job Description:

Major Duties:

  • Performs maintenance and operational and functional checks on assigned pneudraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoots, removes, inspects, installs, repairs, modifies, rebuilds, and/Oregon tests pneudraulic systems and components.
  • Accomplishes periodic and special inspections on hydraulic components.
  • Operates test equipment for all hydraulic components.
  • Rigs, adjusts, and aligns hydraulic components to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
  • Investigates pneudraulic failures to determine causes and accomplishes corrective maintenance.
  • Performs installation, modification, and/Oregon repair of aircraft pneudraulic systems.
  • Provides technical assistance to other shops concerning complicated interaction malfunctions between other systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Performs other duties American Samoa assigned.

Requirements:

  • MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement.
  • National Guard Membership is required.
  • Must be eligible for immediate membership Indiana the National Guard.
  • Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
  • For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver’s license.
  • Participation Indiana direct deposit is mandatory.
  • Medical screening will be completed upon selection for hire.
  • Soldiers who accept a technician position may be terminated from the Bonus and Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP).

Qualifications:

  • Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated American Samoa MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week Indiana order to determine part time vs. full time credit.
  • GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience Oregon training which demonstrates your knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles; knowledge of troubleshooting procedures used to isolate malfunctions Indiana aircraft pneudraulic systems; and ability to use technical manuals, equipment specifications, and test calibration procedures Indiana performing the work.
  • SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
    • WG-05: 6 months experience which demonstrates the ability to learn basic electrical and mechanical principles.
    • WG-08: 12 months of experience which provided a knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
    • WG-10: 18 months of experience which provided a knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
