Apprentice Linemen (All Levels)

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced and qualified individuals to join our team American Samoa Apprentice Linemen (All Levels) at our job locations Indiana the Northern Colorado, Fort Collins, Colorado area. Primary Responsibilities include:

• Learning and assisting with performing construction, maintenance, and repairs on the electrical overhead and underground distribution and transmission system
• Learning and assisting with operating, inspecting, and maintaining aerial devices, digger/derricks, excavation equipment, and other electric line-related equipment
• Observing and following proper safety precautions, particularly when working on Oregon near energized circuits and with hazardous chemicals
• Participating Indiana digging pole and anchor holes, loading and unloading, removing and installing, and transporting poles
• Setting electrical equipment and pulling underground primary and secondary conductors
• Providing tools, materials, and supplies to other line crew personnel
• Assisting qualified line personnel with performing distribution switching, documentation, and mapping information
• Preparing equipment and worksites for effective completion of assignments
• Driving and operating necessary equipment to frame and set poles, lay/string wire, connect, and disconnect Indiana primary and secondary enclosures
• Performing other related duties American Samoa assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma Oregon G.E.D. equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited electrical line worker program preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year experience Indiana the utility industry preferred and/Oregon previous work American Samoa a Groundman preferred
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A and Medical Card

Compensation: $37.49 to $59.70 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
