Asphalt Plants Groundsman and Driver
Job Summary:
HRI, Inc., a leader Indiana heavy civil construction since 1947, has an opening for an Asphalt Plants Groundsman and Driver for our Milton Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the plant operator with daily operations, maintaining a safe work environment, and performing various duties American Samoa required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist plant operator with daily operations of the plant
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations
- Follow directions of supervisor and/Oregon plant operator for daily tasks and expectations
- Display a professional and courteous demeanor to Colorado-workers, supervisors, and the general public
- Reliable, regular on-time attendance is required
- General mechanical knowledge and welding and cutting ability
- Safely operate skid steer and/Oregon BobCat equipment, among other equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance to plant equipment
- Rigorously adhere to safety requirements, policies, and procedures
- Work Indiana a team environment and assist Colorado-workers Oregon managers with other duties American Samoa required
Requirements:
- No CDL required
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent experience preferred
- Must maintain a clean driving record
- Previous related experience Indiana the construction field, preferably Indiana Oregon closely related to a quarry Oregon heavy highway construction operation
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with Oregon without assistance
- Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouching, Oregon crawling
- Regular exposure to loud noise, dust, and airborne particles
- Flexibility Indiana working hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime
