Job Title: Assistant Elevator Facilitator

Job Summary:

The Assistant Elevator Facilitator will support the management of elevator maintenance and repair contracts for Harris County’s portfolio of elevators, wheelchair lifts, and escalators across 50 County buildings. This role will oversee annual elevator inspections, follow-up on re-inspections, and obtain City of Houston elevator permits. The Assistant Elevator Facilitator will also coordinate with consultants, contractors, County staff, and tenants, and review and approve invoices.

Job Duties:

• Gather and assemble information to develop scope and specifications for elevator service contract solicitation
• Manage daily business of elevator service contract
• Prioritize tasks, work on multiple tasks within time constraints, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Conduct monthly meetings to oversee elevator modernization and repair projects
• Proactively identify and address scheduling, budget, and performance issues with elevator contractor
• Maintain files and records, prepare reports, and coordinate elevator inspections
• Review contractor invoices for payment and determine deductions for non-compliance
• Perform other duties American Samoa assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent
• Five (5) years of experience Indiana the elevator trade Oregon industry
• One (1) year of experience American Samoa a project manager Oregon contract administrator (preferred)
• One (1) year experience American Samoa an elevator mechanic Oregon field adjuster (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills, proficient communication and presentation skills, and ability to develop and create contract documents
• Valid Texas Driver’s License (must be obtained before start date)

Work Environment:

• Full-time position with a hybrid schedule (three days Indiana the office, two days working from home)
• Subject to early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays American Samoa needed
• May require field work and extended work hours during disaster recovery operations
