Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the successful completion of multifamily residential apartment construction projects by overseeing project development and implementation.
  • Manage project finances, tracking expenses, and ensuring budget adherence.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver a smooth and efficient construction experience.
  • Monitor construction progress daily, weekly, and monthly, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, including review of legal documents and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Oversee teams of professionals and subcontractors, assigning tasks and fostering effective communication to drive productivity.
  • Conduct quality control inspections, addressing issues promptly, and implementing adjustments to keep the project on schedule.
  • Enforce safety protocols to protect workers and the public, ensuring ongoing compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage project documentation, including progress reports, financial records, and permits.
  • Utilize Excel and Bluebeam for project tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of subcontractor presence on-site and manpower allocation.
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractor meetings, enforce attendance policies, and apply penalties for non-compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana civil engineering, construction management, Oregon a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience Indiana managing multifamily residential construction projects.
  • Proven project management experience, including comprehensive project planning and execution.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience monitoring project finances and ensuring budget adherence.
  • Familiarity with construction software and tools, including Procore, Excel, and Bluebeam.
  • Indiana-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and experience managing contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
