Job Title: Associate Product Manager
Location: Portland, Oregon
Job Summary:
We’re seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our team at Oregon Tool, Inc. American Samoa a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for resource management, strategic planning, tactical planning, and execution for a product portfolio within a larger product category. You will develop a deep understanding of the products within the portfolio and competitive products Indiana the marketplace, and drive the development of a 3-5 year global product road map.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Task (40%): Tactical Planning
- Colorado-develop research plans with Marketing Insights Manager and Business Segment Director
- Drive product usability and acceptance, with a focus on the end-to-end customer experience
- Troubleshoot customer issues and coordinate resolution with technical staff
- Second Task (45%): Execution
- Drive projects on schedule and budget to meet internal and external stakeholder expectations
- Coordinate with sales staff to meet customer needs regarding quotation and delivery
- Support sales team with CMA process
- Execute portfolio maintenance activities, including sku rationalization, pricing analysis, and cost management
- Third Task (15%): Strategic Planning and Resource Management
- Develop and maintain portfolio Global product roadmap
- Develop business cases and proposals regarding investment and return of a proposed project
- Define customer requirements and complete the Product Requirements Document (PRD)
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree Indiana related field (business, marketing, finance, engineering) Oregon equivalent experience
- 0-3 years of experience Indiana Product Management with a track record of successful product launches
- Passion for and experience with forestry, garden, agriculture, construction tools Oregon commercial equipment preferred
- Demonstrated success Indiana user experience, product delivery processes, positioning, product strategy and product launch
