Job Title: Audio-Visual Integration Technician

Job Summary:
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for pulling and terminating cables, installing equipment, and programming proprietary equipment for the Company’s clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Dress, label, pull, cut and terminate cables
  • Install and connect video routers, switches, cameras, and other equipment
  • Identify cable types, including SVID, Composite, CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, and DVI
  • Mount and dress display equipment, including wall panels
  • Program various equipment and troubleshoot complex audio-video equipment
  • Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts and record serial model numbers
  • Complete daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
  • Provide world-class customer service to clients
  • Complete assigned projects Indiana a high-quality manner and Indiana compliance with scopes of project assignment

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

  • Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables, and network cable testers
  • Ability to dress racks and read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
  • Knowledge of basics of AC/D voltage and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to fit into tight spaces, quickly learn new computer programs, and operate mobile devices
  • Ability to make sound decisions, escalate matters quickly, and respond effectively to sensitive inquiries Oregon complaints

Qualification Standards:

  • High School Diploma Oregon technical trade school equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience Indiana audio-video integration technical environment
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such American Samoa fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:

  • Primary working environment is an indoor medical setting with 100% travel to project locations
  • Exposure to hazardous conditions and areas, requiring compliance with safety provisions and use of PPE
  • May be subject to noise, vibration, and various physical conditions, including proximity to moving mechanical parts and high places.
