Job Summary

The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing and integrating audio-visual equipment for the company’s clients, including pulling and terminating cables, installing equipment, and programming proprietary equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Dress, label, pull, cut, and terminate cables
  • Install and connect video routers, switches, and cameras
  • Identify and install various cable types, including SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVI
  • Mount and dress display screens of various sizes
  • Program various equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex audio-visual equipment
  • Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts
  • Complete daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
  • Provide world-class customer service to clients
  • Complete projects Indiana a high-quality manner and Indiana compliance with project scopes

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, and network cable testers
  • Ability to read and interpret reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
  • Knowledge of basics of AC/District of Columbia voltage
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals
  • Ability to fit into tight spaces and work Indiana hazardous conditions
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices

Qualification Standards

  • High School Diploma Oregon equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience Indiana audio-visual integration technical environment
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Primary working environment is an indoor medical setting with 100% travel to project locations
  • Exposure to noise, hazardous conditions, and physical demands, including proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and high places
  • Must have close visual acuity to perform essential duties

Compensation and Benefits

  • $25.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience
