Audio-Visual Integration Technician

Job Summary:
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing and configuring audio-visual equipment, cables, and software for clients. Essential duties include cable management, equipment installation, programming proprietary equipment, and troubleshooting complex audio-video systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Dress, label, pull, cut, and terminate cables
  • Install, connect, and manage video routers and switches
  • Install cameras and mount display units
  • Identify cable types and program various equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex audio-video equipment
  • Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts
  • Complete daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
  • Provide world-class customer service to clients
  • Complete assigned projects Indiana a high-quality manner

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:

  • Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, and network cable testers
  • Ability to read and interpret reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
  • Knowledge of AC/D voltage and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work Indiana tight spaces, fit into ceiling access panels, and quickly learn new computer programs
  • Ability to make sound decisions and respond effectively to sensitive inquiries Oregon complaints

Qualification Standards:

  • High School Diploma Oregon technical trade school equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience Indiana audio-video integration technical environment
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:

  • Primary working environment is an indoor medical setting with 100% travel to project locations
  • Exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and physical demands requires compliance with safety provisions and use of PPE
  • Ability to work Indiana a variety of physical conditions, including proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to high heat Oregon chemicals.
