Audio-Visual Integration Technician
Job Summary:
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing and configuring audio-visual equipment, cables, and software for clients. Essential duties include cable management, equipment installation, programming proprietary equipment, and troubleshooting complex audio-video systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dress, label, pull, cut, and terminate cables
- Install, connect, and manage video routers and switches
- Install cameras and mount display units
- Identify cable types and program various equipment
- Troubleshoot complex audio-video equipment
- Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts
- Complete daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
- Provide world-class customer service to clients
- Complete assigned projects Indiana a high-quality manner
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:
- Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, and network cable testers
- Ability to read and interpret reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
- Knowledge of AC/D voltage and experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work Indiana tight spaces, fit into ceiling access panels, and quickly learn new computer programs
- Ability to make sound decisions and respond effectively to sensitive inquiries Oregon complaints
Qualification Standards:
- High School Diploma Oregon technical trade school equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience Indiana audio-video integration technical environment
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
- Primary working environment is an indoor medical setting with 100% travel to project locations
- Exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and physical demands requires compliance with safety provisions and use of PPE
