Job Summary

The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting audio-visual systems for the Company’s clients. This includes pulling and terminating cables, installing equipment, and programming proprietary equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Dress, label, pull, cut, and terminate cables
  • Install, connect, and manage video routers and switches
  • Install cameras
  • Identify cable types, including SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVI
  • Mount and dress displays of various sizes, including wall panels
  • Program various equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex audio-video equipment
  • Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts
  • Complete and update daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
  • Provide world-class customer service to clients
  • Complete assigned projects Indiana a high-quality manner and Indiana compliance with scopes of project assignment

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability

  • Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables, and network cable testers
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
  • Ability to identify and understand various source plates
  • Knowledge of basics of AC/D voltage
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals
  • Ability to fit into tight spaces and work Indiana a variety of environments
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices
  • Ability to make sound decisions and escalate matters quickly and efficiently

Qualification Standards

  • High School Diploma Oregon equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience Indiana audio-video integration technical environment
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

  • The primary working environment is an indoor medical setting with 100% travel to project locations
  • The role requires working Indiana hazardous conditions and areas, and wearing PPE
  • The position is subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, noise, and physical hazards.
