Audio-Visual Integration Technician Job Summary:
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing and configuring audio-visual equipment for the Company’s clients, including pull and termination of cables, installation of equipment, and programming of proprietary equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Dress, label, pull, cut, and terminate cables
• Install and connect video routers, switches, and cameras
• Identify and manage cable types, including SVID, Composite, CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVI
• Mount and dress display equipment, including wall panels
• Program audio-visual equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair client equipment
• Manage inventory and track equipment usage and maintenance
• Complete daily reports, project photos, and timecards
• Provide world-class customer service and collaborate with colleagues
• Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment, including voltage meters, soldering irons, and cable testers
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and plans
• Knowledge of electrical safety and working at heights
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based portals
• Ability to learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
Requirements:
• High School Diploma Oregon equivalent
• 2+ years of experience Indiana audio-visual integration Oregon a related technical field
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Willingness to travel and work Indiana indoor and outdoor environments
