Job Title: Audio-Visual Integration Technician

Job Summary:
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing, terminating, and programming audio-visual equipment for clients. The technician must have a strong understanding of cable flow and installation, American Samoa well American Samoa the ability to read wire diagrams and program proprietary equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Dress, label, pull, cut, and terminate cables
  • Install, connect, and manage video routers and switches
  • Install cameras
  • Identify cable types, including SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVI
  • Mount and dress display of various sizes, including wall panels
  • Program various equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex audio-video equipment
  • Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts, including recording serial model numbers
  • Complete and update daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
  • Provide world-class customer service to clients
  • Complete all assigned projects Indiana a high-quality manner and Indiana compliance with scopes of project assignment

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:

  • Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables, and network cable testers
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
  • Ability to identify and understand various source plates
  • Knowledge of basics of AC/D voltage
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals
  • Ability to fit into tight spaces, including ceiling access panels, closets, and interstitial spaces
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices
  • Ability to make sound decisions and escalate matters quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries Oregon complaints

Qualification Standards:

  • High School Diploma, technical trade school, Oregon equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience Indiana audio-video integration technical environment

Physical Requirements/ Working Environment:

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $25.00 – $30.00 per hour based on experience
