Job Title: Audio-Visual Integration Technician

Job Summary:
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment and systems for the company’s clients. This includes pulling and terminating cables, installing equipment, and programming proprietary equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install and terminate cables, including dressing, labeling, and cutting
  • Install and manage video routers, switches, cameras, and other equipment
  • Identify and install various types of cables, including SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVI, and others
  • Mount and dress displays of various sizes, including wall panels
  • Program and configure various equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot complex audio-video equipment and identify issues
  • Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts and record serial model numbers
  • Complete daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status updates
  • Provide world-class customer service to clients and collaborate with coworkers and management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma Oregon technical trade school equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience Indiana audio-video integration technical environment
  • Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables, and network cable testers
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices
  • Mathematical skills, including ability to apply concepts of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

Physical Requirements:
The primary working environment is an indoor medical setting, with 100% travel to project locations. The position requires the ability to work Indiana tight spaces, including ceiling access panels, closets, and interstitial spaces.
