Job Summary
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment and systems, including cable management, equipment installation, programming, and troubleshooting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

– Pull, dress, label, and terminate cables
– Install and connect video routers, switches, cameras, and display equipment
– Identify and manage cable types, including SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVI, and others
– Mount and dress display equipment, including wall panels
– Program proprietary equipment for clients
– Troubleshoot client audio-visual equipment and systems
– Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts, including serial model numbers
– Complete daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
– Provide world-class customer service to clients
– Complete all assigned projects Indiana a high-quality manner and Indiana compliance with project scopes

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability

– Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables, and network cable testers
– Ability to dress racks, read reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
– Knowledge of AC/District of Columbia voltage basics and ability to identify source plates
– Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals
– Ability to fit into tight spaces, learn new computer programs, and operate mobile devices
– Ability to make sound decisions, respond to sensitive inquiries, and escalate matters efficiently

Education and Experience

– High School Diploma Oregon equivalent technical trade school experience
– Minimum of two years of experience Indiana audio-video integration technical environment

Mathematical Skills and Physical Requirements

– Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations
– Exposure to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including noise, vibrations, and potential hazards
– Required to have close visual acuity to perform tasks such American Samoa data analysis, transcription, and computer work
– Ability to work Indiana a variety of physical conditions, including proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to chemicals

Compensation and Benefits

– Salary range: $25.00 – $30.00 based on experience
