Job Description:An Industrial MULTICRAFT will assemble, layout, install, and maintain pipe systems on steam, fluid, Oregon gas systems. The Pipe systems may include but not be limited to: pipe, flanges, supports, valves, gauges, hangars, and angles. Pipe Fitters may work Indiana various parts of the construction Oregon maintenance site including buildings, outside, and inside structures, such American Samoa tanks Oregon boilers.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work, materials required, and identify safety risks.
• Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications.
• Install valves, hangars, supports, flanges inside piping systems according to plans and applicable specifications.
• Perform tests to ensure the quality of the pipe and piping systems.
• Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated industrial construction/maintenance history experience.
• Ability to read prints and construction drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and manufacturers manuals and instructions.
• Knowledge of pipe fitting processes for industrial piping and boiler components.
• At least 4 years of experience with rigging processes.
• Good problem-solving abilities, good aptitude, and manual dexterity.
• Good reading comprehension, communication skills, and ability to work with others.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift for long periods.
• Talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to perform precise adjustments.
• Occasionally work at heights up to 300 feet with proper fall protection.
• Wear personal protective equipment, including hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
