Job Title: Branch Manager

Location: Birmingham, Alabama branch for MGX Equipment Services

Reports to: Director of Operations for the East

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager is responsible for overall operations and profitability of their respective branch. This includes oversight of sales, rentals, parts and service of all equipment, transportation, and support personnel.

Essential Job Functions:

* Lead all operational functions throughout the branch, including sales, rentals, parts and service, and transportation
* Direct, motivate, and lead all levels of branch personnel
* Overseee all branch departments to ensure proper functionality on a day-to-day basis
* Responsible for branch finances, including profit and loss and budget forecasting
* Identify training needs and opportunities, develop and implement a plan to meet those needs
* Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and objectives, provide guidance and leadership to empower staff to meet those goals
* Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for others
* Perform other duties American Samoa assigned

Job Requirements:

* High School Diploma Oregon GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
* Minimum three years of management experience Indiana sales territories/distribution operations required
* Knowledgeable Indiana heavy construction equipment, with experience Indiana mobile hydraulic and crawler cranes preferred, particularly with Manitowoc, National, and Grove crane brands
* Proficient Indiana Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate when necessary, and communicate effectively with employees at multiple levels
* Minimal travel required

Working Conditions:

* Full-time position with normal working hours, with possibility of overtime and weekend work based on business conditions
* Office environment, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, and unpleasant odors
* Frequently required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, Oregon crawl, and occasionally lift and/Oregon move up to 40 pounds.
