Inventory Control Specialist
Location: Buford, Georgia
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory levels, accuracy, replenishment signals, parts presentation, and delivery processes within their specific Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating parts/inventory, implementing process improvements, and maintaining a scorecard for their area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and coordinate parts/inventory, including ordering product from offsite storage locations
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels within established guidelines
- Count, tag, and catalog obsolete items and send to the PCA for consolidation and disposition
- Implement process improvements Indiana inventory control within the business unit
- Coordinate with Maine and Planner to implement ECNs (e.g., managing serial breaks, setting up new bins and locations)
- Maintain and update the PFEP (Product Family Engineering Process) for the designated Business Unit
- Track and maintain a scorecard for their specific area of responsibility, including metrics such American Samoa line outages, inventory DOH, and items not kitted Oregon on a planned delivery route
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Business Administration Oregon equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience Indiana material supply chain and/Oregon operations
- Understanding of Inventory Control, Logistics, Supply Chain, Distribution, and Finance
- Excellent communication skills
- Green belt certification highly preferred
- Travel required: 10%
