Cable Designer

Job Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Indiana a related field with 2+ years of experience Oregon less than 2 years with Master’s degree. High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
Must have at least 2 years of experience Indiana design work using CAD packages, cable design configuration control, and electro-mechanical assemblies position. Position requires collaborative engineering with multi-disciplinary teams and effective team environment communication.
Must be a US citizen with a Final Secret Clearance and able to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama area.
Cable Designer Responsibilities:
– Design cable assemblies, wiring, and interconnect diagrams
– Develop schematics and layout drawings for military electronics
– Interface with design engineers and manufacturing technicians for resolution of design issues
– Perform work Indiana multiple programs and maintain drawing schedules
– Work within military (DOD) and commercial (ANSI) standards
Selection criteria for cable materials and knowledge on electrical components.
Preferred Qualifications:
– 3D cable design experience Indiana SolidWorks Oregon Creo
– AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/Oregon Creo experience
– Use of CAD packages, cable design configuration control, and electro-mechanical assemblies
Salary Pay Range: $65,000 – $117,500
