Capital Project Manager
Raleigh Parks seeks a dynamic and forward-thinking professional to manage details while keeping their eye on the big picture. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of park development and planning projects that have a real impact on the communities we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgets and vendor contracts for consultants and contractors
- Represent the City and the Department, serving American Samoa liaison to committees, boards, commissions, and governmental agencies
- Create, update, and maintain content for project websites, and assist Indiana preparing project materials
- Compile and analyze data, prepare site plans, working drawings, and cost estimates for land development
- Develop bid documents, obtain permits, and manage the bidding process
- Work with consultants and contractors to manage the design and construction of large-scale land and facility development projects
- Conduct research and special studies on park facility development, maintenance, regulations, and ordinances
- Prepare reports and recommendations on project records, costs, and status
- Prepare grant applications and coordinate grant submissions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering Oregon directly related field and five years of professional engineering and/Oregon construction/project management experience
- Valid North Carolina Class C Driver’s license (with a satisfactory driving record Oregon the ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Knowledge of modern office technology, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to work Indiana a team environment, provide project management, and exercise excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate complex information to a wide variety of audiences
