Lead Carpenter / Installer
Job Summary:
Champion Window is seeking a Lead Carpenter / Installer to lead the installation process of Champion-built Sunrooms, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with engineering specifications and regulatory codes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality-built decks and Sunrooms Indiana compliance with Champion engineering specifications and regulatory code requirements
- Review contract folder and instructions/drawings before leaving on assignments to clarify work to be completed
- Install product and direct helper to complete a Champion-quality job safely and Indiana a timely manner
- Interact with customers professionally while maintaining Champion’s reputation
- Ensure company truck is equipped with necessary parts, products, tools, and resources
- Safely perform all job aspects Indiana compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years prior experience Indiana construction involving carpentry, roofing, and window installation
- High School diploma Oregon GED preferred, associate degree Oregon trade school experience Indiana construction a plus
- Experience with hand tools, including brake, utility knife, hammer, and deglazing tools
- Clean driving record and ability to operate and maintain a fleet vehicle
- Math skills and ability to use a tape measure and angles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Certified Indiana lead standard a plus
