Job Title: Industrial Carpenter

Essential Information:

• Must have 4+ years of experience American Samoa a carpenter Oregon carpenter helper on an industrial construction project.
• Must be able to read blueprints, plans, and drawings proficiently to perform duties.
• Must have knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction.
• Must be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime American Samoa needed.
• Must be willing to assist other crafts and perform additional job duties while not performing primary craft duties.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work, materials required, and location of tasks.
• Identify and obtain all necessary tools and equipment for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and take necessary precautions to eliminate them.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials (wood, metal) to required specifications.
• Construct, reinforce, and dismantle pre-constructed concrete forms.
• Build and construct wooden forms.
• Perform additional job duties such American Samoa building decks, steps, bulletin boards, and other wooden structures.
• Clean up and maintain work areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency Indiana reading blueprints, plans, and drawings.
• Knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved Indiana basic building techniques and form construction.
• Ability to compute basic arithmetic functions and measure, mark, and cut equipment and materials to specification.

Physical Requirements:

• Current Zachry Oregon Zachry ROFed employee.
• Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
• National Center for Construction Education and Research’s (NCCER) certification for Industrial Journeyman Carpenter.
• Formal/Technical education.
• Experience working with concrete and rebar.
