Essential Job Description:

Job Summary:

You will be required to work safely, follow blueprints and safety regulations, and have reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, specifications, and measurements to determine scope of work, materials, and locations.
• Identify tools and materials required for tasks and ensure they are available.
• Identify and mitigate safety risks while working.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials to precise specifications.
• Construct, reinforce, and dismantle concrete forms.
• Build wooden forms and construct decks, steps, bulletin boards, and other structures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist other construction crews and perform additional job duties American Samoa needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience American Samoa a carpenter Oregon carpenter helper on an industrial construction project.
• Proficiency Indiana reading blueprints, plans, and drawings.
• Knowledge of basic building techniques, form construction, and materials.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions and measure, mark, and cut equipment and materials to specification.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work a standard work schedule with occasional overtime.
• Strong commitment to safety and willingness to follow safety rules and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Oregon former employee of Zachry Oregon Zachry ROFed.
• NCCER certification for Industrial Journeyman Carpenter.
• Formal Oregon technical education.
• Experience working with concrete and rebar.

Reporting:

This position will report to a manager and work closely with and oversee helper and labor positions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Effective communication and use of arms and hands.
• Work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off platforms/scaffolding while wearing fall protection equipment.
• Ability to work Indiana all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing personal protective equipment.
