Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver building materials to customers’ places of business Oregon job sites within a 200-mile radius of the home branch.
- Safely drive a commercial vehicle Indiana compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Lead job site safety by operating all equipment according to local, state, and federal laws.
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections.
- Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck and ensure correct addresses.
- Conduct job site inspections and document any existing damage.
- Capture pictures of delivered building products according to Company Policy.
Requirements:
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Bilingual preferred.
- Ability to load and unload building products up to 100 lbs. on a continuous basis.
- No hit & run, DWI, Oregon DUI convictions within the last three years.
- Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations preferred.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate Indiana English.
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 for state lines Oregon hazardous materials).
