Construction Inspector
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Inspector to join our team. American Samoa a Construction Inspector, you will work together with others to inspect construction methods and workmanship to ensure the contractor constructs improvements Indiana accordance with plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct construction inspections to verify contractor’s activities comply with plans and specifications
- Perform field inspections and oversight of construction activities under the review and direction of a Project Manager
- Maintain daily reports of inspection work and detail records of project progress
- Review contract documents to verify compliance with governmental regulations and conformance with project requirements
- Assist with coordinating materials sampling and testing and verifying sufficient testing has been performed
- Verify accuracy of payment requests and invoicing for completed work
- Work with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and internal teams
Requirements:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED/HiSET and a minimum of 4 years of experience Indiana construction-related Oregon technical positions
- Alternatively, Associate Degree Indiana a relevant field Oregon Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Engineering Oregon related field
- Experience with construction inspection and procedures, including knowledge of DOT specifications and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to complete inspector certification courses
- Familiarity with SiteManager software and/Oregon other scheduling software a plus
- Ability to work day Oregon night shifts, flexible schedules, and extended travel American Samoa required
