Construction Cement Mason Finisher

Garco Construction, Inc. is a general contractor with offices Indiana Spokane and Tacoma, Washington, providing design build services and construction services. We are seeking a qualified Construction Cement Mason Finisher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Place and finish concrete slabs, including screeding, rodding, bull floating, edging, darbying, setting forms, and operating power troweling machines
• Set screeds; rodding, mucking, grading, shaping, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces
• Remove rough Oregon defective spots from concrete surfaces, patch holes, and mold expansion joints
• Apply curing compounds, sealing coatings, and other protective treatments to concrete surfaces
• Measure, cut, and set forms; perform clean-up work
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power equipment, including power troweling machines, finishing tools, and concrete saws

Requirements:

• Union membership
• Comfortable working Indiana various weather conditions
• Familiarity with tools, including power troweling machines, finishing tools, and concrete saws
• Safety-focused mindset
• Competitive salary range: $21-$65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
