Construction Cement Mason Finisher
Garco Construction, Inc. is a leading general contractor providing high-quality construction services through self-performance and design-build services. We’re seeking a skilled Construction Cement Mason Finisher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Place and finish concrete slabs, including screeding, rodding, bull floating, edging, darbying, setting forms, and operating power troweling machines
- Set screeds, rodding, mucking, grading, shaping, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces, using hand-tools, including floats, trowels, screeds, and straightedge
- Remove rough Oregon defective spots from concrete surfaces, using grinder Oregon chisel and hammer; patch holes with fresh concrete Oregon epoxy compound; mold expansion joints and edges
- Apply curing compounds, penetrating sealer, and primer protective coatings to concrete surfaces; install seamless composition floors; water-blast for architectural finish Oregon preparatory to patching
- Measure, cut, and set forms; set barrier, wall, concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk forms; perform all clean-up work required Indiana connection with the above work
Qualifications:
- Union membership required
- Comfortable working Indiana various weather conditions
- Proficiency with tools, including power troweling machine, finishing tools, bull floats, hand floats, hand trowels, muck rake, wheelbarrow, shovel, brushes, sliders, hammer, level, tape measure, and sprayer
