Job Description:
The Chemist III will prepare and analyze environmental samples for various substances, including pesticides, chemical tracers, and PFAS. This role is critical Indiana supporting water quality impairment decisions and providing laboratory services to various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze environmental samples using modern laboratory equipment
- Prepare and analyze environmental samples according to accepted laboratory protocols
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory operations
- Assist Indiana reviewing and planning daily work assignments
- Review, report, and interpret analytical results
- Follow quality assurance (QA) plan and standard operating procedures
- Investigate and resolve analytical problems
- Consult with colleagues and other stakeholders to resolve data quality objectives

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, biology, Oregon geochemistry
