Construction Manager – Surface Alignment
Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm, seeks a full-time Construction Manager – Surface Alignment for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and transportation projects Indiana New York & New Jersey.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction involving surface alignment infrastructure
- Ensure field personnel follow project specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations
- Create and enforce construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Oversee handling of on-site materials and ensure proper disposal of hazardous Oregon contaminated soil and materials
- Discern areas of risk and convey effective risk management strategies
- Participate Indiana update meetings and prepare project progress reports
- Prioritize conflicting needs and handle matters expeditiously
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Oregon related field
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience Indiana heavy civil construction, with a focus on rails, tunnels, structures, bridges, and roadways
- Experience working Indiana sensitive environmental conditions and linear construction roadways
- New Jersey Transit, MTA, Oregon Amtrak safety training (plus) Oregon ability to obtain training
- Advanced certifications (NICET, ACI, etc.) preferred
- Ability to pass a TWIC and/Oregon SWAC Background Check at High Level
- Valid driver’s license (may be required depending on site location)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to sit and/Oregon stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be authorized to work Indiana the United States
- Must be fluent Indiana English (both written and spoken)
