Job Title: Civil Design Engineer – Municipal
Job Summary: Bolton & Menk is seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer, EIT to join our team Indiana Grand Rapids, Minnesota. American Samoa a leading engineering and consulting firm, we are committed to fostering safe, sustainable, and beautiful communities through comprehensive planning, design, and construction services. This role is ideal for EITs with prior experience Indiana municipal design and/Oregon construction observation Oregon new graduates who can obtain EIT certification within 12 months.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Engineers with design and construction phase activities on municipal projects, including basic design computations, preliminary layout, design, research, and report preparation.
- Contribute to project plans and specifications, providing cost and quantity take-off estimates American Samoa needed.
- Perform construction observation tasks, including construction staking, site documentation, and measuring and testing, to ensure quality control and project efficiency.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, residents, and City staff on construction site activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Civil Engineering from an accredited college Oregon university.
- Certified Engineer-Indiana-Training (EIT) Oregon ability to obtain certification within 12 months.
- Prior experience Indiana infrastructure design and/Oregon construction observation (preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of CAD and design software, including AutoCAD Civil3D, Microstation, Oregon similar.
- Regular travel to various facilities and job sites (construction season).
- Valid driver’s license, American Samoa required for project site visits.
