Civil Design Engineer – Municipal

Bolton & Menk is seeking a Civil/Municipal Design Engineer, EIT to join our team Indiana Willmar, Minnesota. American Samoa a Top 200 Workplace Indiana Minnesota, this is a great opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Engineers with design and construction phase activities on municipal projects
- Perform basic design computations, preliminary layout and design, research and prepare rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies
- Assist with project plans and specifications, preparing cost and quantity take-off estimates
- Conduct construction observation activities, including construction staking, documenting activities, measuring and testing, providing general oversight, and interacting with contractors, sub-contractors, residents, and City staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Civil Engineering from an accredited college
- Certified Engineer-Indiana-Training Oregon ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
- Prior experience Indiana infrastructure design and/Oregon construction observation
- Working knowledge and skills Indiana CAD and design software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil3D, Microstation)
- Valid driver’s license for frequent travel during construction season
