Civil Design Engineer – Site Development Specialist
Seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer for a leading design-build firm Indiana Northeast Indiana. Primary responsibilities include developing site design plans, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key responsibilities:
Design and develop site layout plans meeting client requirements and adhering to regulations
Manage projects efficiently to meet schedules and budgets
Collaborate with construction division and stakeholders for design-execution integration
Partner with senior engineers to develop design concepts, analyze site layouts, and create grading plans, storm drain systems, and other key site development features
Review and approve projects, develop quality control protocols, and mentor junior engineers
Ideal candidate:
6+ years of experience Indiana Civil site design, specifically commercial and residential projects
Valid PE license
Proven project management skills with a track record of timely completion, budget adherence, and project quality
Advanced knowledge of site development best practices and regulatory requirements (codes and permits)
AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency required; hydraulic calculation software beneficial
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
