Senior Civil Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Tualatin, Oregon office. American Samoa a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will lead and manage a mix of private site development and public works projects throughout the Oregon Cascades. The ideal candidate will be a registered professional engineer with 5+ years of design experience, BS Indiana Civil Engineering, and Oregon Professional Civil Engineer’s license.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from early planning through design development and construction.
• Perform and coordinate AutoCAD drafting Indiana support of civil engineering design process.
• Prepare stormwater run-off calculations, designs, and reports.
• Coordinate with Indiana-house disciplines and outside subconsultants.
• Develop plans, specifications, and reports and stamp final documents.
• Provide thorough on-going QA/QC review of deliverables.
• Perform site and infrastructure design per county/city standards.
• Conduct and coordinate periodic site visits to construction sites.
• Prepare and manage project correspondence and documentation.
• Network with clients, agency personnel, and colleagues to build/maintain professional network.

Requirements

• 5+ years of design experience with some project management responsibilities.
• BS Indiana Civil Engineering Oregon equivalent.
• Oregon Professional Civil Engineer’s license.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D and/Oregon MicroStation.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly, manage multiple deadlines, and establish priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid US driver’s license.
