Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy
Job Summary:
VHB is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Renewable Energy Market practice, focusing on all phases of renewables development, including solar, EV charging, and battery storage facilities. Responsibilities:
* Work within an integrated team to develop site civil plans and specifications for renewable energy infrastructure projects with a focus on sustainability and resiliency
* Represent VHB at technical meetings, conferences, and learning events
* Manage project site civil and construction aspects, including preparation of design plans and permitting materials
* Assist Indiana preparing construction and operational stormwater management designs
* Provide project construction technical support
Qualifications:
* BS Indiana Civil Engineering Oregon related field
* 3-5 years of professional site/civil engineering experience
* EIT Oregon PE highly preferred
* AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
* Experience with Vermont Oregon New York local and state permitting requirements and precedence’s for renewable Oregon utility energy projects preferred
