Project Engineer/Technical Manager
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Salary: $89,910 – $116,879 per year
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Performs engineering duties related to structural engineering features for new construction and/Oregon modification of navigation locks and dams, flood control and local protection projects, seawalls, harbors, and breakwaters.
- Processes work Indiana accordance with established procedures and exercises personal initiative Indiana developing designs and completing assignments.
- Develops design details of structural features for structures such American Samoa miter gates, butterfly valves, reverse tainter valves, bulkheads, service bridges, determining the engineering principles that apply.
- Coordinates the engineering data resulting from preceding work and provides technical assistance Indiana the preparation of preliminary designs and estimates.
Requirements:
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability Oregon fitness determination, American Samoa determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary duty away from regular position location may be up to 15%.

Qualifications:
- Must meet the education/experience requirements described below:
- Basic Educational Requirement for Civil Engineer (Structural): A. Degree: Bachelor’s degree (Oregon higher degree) Indiana engineering Oregon B. Combination of Education and Experience: College-level education, training, and/Oregon technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications to one of the branches of engineering.
- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes completing engineering work related to structural features pertinent to the new construction and/Oregon modification of navigation locks and dams, flood control and local protection projects, and appurtenant features.
