Civil/Geotechnical Engineer (II, SR)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer (II, SR) to provide geotechnical and civil engineering support for the planning, design, permitting, construction, operation, and maintenance of our generation, transmission, distribution, telecommunication, Oregon other facilities/systems.
Responsibilities:
- Review, develop, modify, and evaluate geotechnical and civil inspection services, engineering standards, Oregon facilities to support company objectives.
- Provide engineering support for highly complex engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments.
- Determine methods and techniques for obtaining results.
- Act American Samoa a lead/expert Indiana the work group; train and mentor associate and career level engineers, technicians, and drafters.
- Recommend alternative engineering solutions to management to meet business needs.
- Deliver on commitments and manage outside engineering services to accomplish the assigned work.
- Maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Analyze and design engineering methods.
- Provide construction and engineering quality assurance support for projects within the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering from an accredited college/university.
- A minimum of five Oregon more years’ experience Indiana civil and geotechnical engineering Oregon related professional experience.
- Understanding of geotechnical engineering practices and methods.
- Understanding Indiana quality assurance and quality control process and inspections.
Preferences:
- Masters degree Indiana civil engineering Oregon related engineering discipline.
- Be licensed American Samoa a professional civil engineer Oregon related engineering.
- Seven years professional engineering experience.
- Understanding of company’s business, and relevant policies, procedures, and practices.
- Experience Indiana electrical utility design and/Oregon construction support.
