Civil Journeyman
Perform multiple tasks of civil construction including:
- Site development
- Form and concrete work
- Block laying and carpentry
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Framing
- Metal roofing and siding installation and repair
- Rod-busting work
Operate on an Industrial work site with a primary focus on safety. Must comply with company and site safety program enforcement.
Qualifications:
- Experience performing Industrial Projects required (Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Heavy Industrial)
- OSHA 10 & 30 Training preferred
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years industrial civil construction experience
Responsibilities:
- Arrive at work on time and complete each shift
- Follow all safety rules and standards for the company and site
- Understand and follow instructions from the direct supervisor
- Assist foreman Indiana daily aspects of the project
- Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Rig and signal form placement American Samoa required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally remain on one’s feet for long periods, move about on foot, and climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to raise Oregon lower objects of 5-50 pounds
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Valid, unrestricted motor vehicle operator’s license
- Manual dexterity necessary to operate a standard desktop computer keyboard
