Job Description: Civil Project Manager – Structure and Bridge Design
Job Summary: Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager – Structure and Bridge Design to lead design efforts for the Structural Engineering team Indiana our Richmond, Virginia office location.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage design efforts for the Structural Engineering team
- Manage client relationships and develop business opportunities
- Develop work plans, schedules, estimates, and budgets
- Supervise and review the work of engineers
- Mentor junior engineers
- Perform complex bridge design for new and rehabilitation projects
- Bridge design and load ratings experience is a plus
- Assist with marketing plan development and implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Structural Engineering Oregon Master’s degree preferred
- 8-15 years of structural design experience
- Current Virginia PE (Oregon ability to obtain license through comity upon hiring)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, and VDOT standards
- Proficiency Indiana structural design software packages such American Samoa MDX, Virtis, Merlin-Dash, Descus, Bar7, STAAD, etc.
