Clinician II Position Summary
The Clinician II works collaboratively with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide a seamless healthcare continuum for patients Indiana a clinic setting. This role is an integral part of the clinic care team, responsible for ensuring safety, best practices, and high-quality standards of care. The Clinician II coordinates patient wellness and chronic illness activities, utilizes critical thinking and creative problem-solving to achieve positive outcomes, and supervises clinical support staff.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing (RN); Bachelor of Science Indiana Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification/Licenses: Licensed by the State of New Mexico American Samoa a Registered Nurse; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association required
- Skills:
- Good business English, spelling, and arithmetic skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Teaching techniques and adult learning principles
- Coordination and implementation of educational materials for patients and their support systems
- Experience: One year of experience working American Samoa a nurse Indiana a clinical setting preferred
- Supervision: Reports to CSVCG Dyad; supervises daily activities of medical assistants and provides feedback for annual performance evaluations
- Environment: Exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment
- Physical Requirements: Full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients; standing and walking for extensive periods; occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds; working under stressful conditions Oregon irregular hours.
