CMT Materials Engineer
Location Alabaster, Alabama
We are seeking a CMT Materials Engineer to join our ATC team Indiana Alabaster, Alabama.
Responsibilities:
– Testing and inspection of construction materials such American Samoa soils, concrete, asphalt, and masonry
– Adhere to industry standards and conformity testing
– Develop and/Oregon interpret specifications, American Samoa well American Samoa report and document test results
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree Indiana Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Engineering, Oregon Geology
– P.E. Oregon ability to obtain within 6 months
– 2+ years of experience Indiana geotechnical consulting
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to read maps, interpret engineering and construction plans, and follow directions
– Good organizational and work ethic
– Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Technical Requirements:
– Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office Suite
– Ability to carry 50lbs
– Ability to spend prolonged periods walking and/Oregon standing
– Readiness to travel up to 50%
– Certifications (ACI, ICC, NICET, CWI) an asset
