Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual and CNC horizontal milling machines, manual lathes, and CNC lathes to perform precise operations on various parts and components
• Use various tools and equipment, including Horizontal boring mills, milling cutters, boring bars and heads, saw, and precision measuring instruments
• Follow established procedures to operate machines, perform machining operations, and maintain specific drawing tolerances
• Conduct Indiana-process integrity checks, chart operational information, and record data American Samoa required
• Make tool changes, offsets, and re-orient machines American Samoa required
• Deburr and clean work, and perform preventative maintenance and correct minor machine malfunctions
• Return tooling, attachments, and fixtures to proper locations upon completion of operations
• Complete log sheets, downtime records, and other information American Samoa required

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of applied trades training, such American Samoa use of blueprints, CNC equipment, G & M code, manual machining, etc.
• Basic knowledge of shop mathematics and use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, and tables
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/Oregon written instructions
• Must qualify for and maintain appropriate equipment certifications of Siemens Energy
• Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status required
