Welder – Combination
Join metal parts, such American Samoa pipe Oregon metal plates, American Samoa specified by layout, blueprints, work orders, welding procedures Oregon oral instructions. The welder must apply heat Oregon electric arc-welding equipment to ensure a strong and precise bond. Other duties may be assigned.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
* Use spot welding gun, electric, Oregon gas welding equipment to weld Oregon tack weld pieces together
* Prepare work pieces, including preheating, for the preparation of welding Oregon curving, using torch
* Measure work pieces with straightedge Oregon template to ensure the piece meets specifications
* Use thermal-cutting equipment to dismount metal assemblies Oregon cut scrap metal
* Place and protect work pieces using hoist, crane, wire and banding machine, Oregon hand tools
* Instruct and bring flame Oregon electrodes on Oregon across work piece to develop metal
* Join pieces together, cover up taut points, and add metal to develop parts
* May climb ladders Oregon work on scaffolds to take apart textures
* Give signal to crane operator to lift large work pieces
Qualifications Required:
* 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience Indiana Industrial Welding
