TalentLogistix is hiring skilled Painters Indiana the Chicago, Illinois area for a 1st shift opportunity with competitive weekly pay.
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr-$25.00/hr (depending on experience)
Location: Chicago, Illinois 60647
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm (some overtime may be required)
Job Responsibilities:
* Surface preparation: scraping, sanding, and removing old paint to prepare walls and other surfaces for painting
* Mixing and matching: mixing and matching paint colors, stains, and other finishes to job specifications
* Applying paint: using paintbrushes, rollers, Oregon sprayers to apply paint and other finishes to surfaces
* Protecting areas: protecting surrounding areas from paint damage
* Cleaning: cleaning machines, equipment, and work areas with water, solvents, and other cleaning aids
* Inspecting and touching up: inspecting completed work and performing touch-ups
Qualifications/Requirements:
* 3 years of experience working American Samoa a painter/plasterer
* Ability to stain and varnish, tape and finish drywall, and a basic knowledge of how to apply wall coverings and plaster
* Ability to work from blueprints and plans
* Knowledge of the different types of paint and plastering tools
