Job Title: Foreman
Job Summary:
Baker Roofing Company is seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to lead our construction team. American Samoa a Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising a crew of roofing technicians, ensuring efficient job execution, maintaining high-quality standards, and promoting a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a crew of roofing technicians to ensure efficient job execution and quality workmanship
- Review job files and shop drawings with the manager to ensure understanding of scope of work, materials, and delivery schedule
- Coordinate with the manager to ensure proper safety and equipment are used on the job site
- Monitor job site cleanliness and daily housekeeping
- Plan and monitor material needs to avoid stockouts
- Prepare and submit daily job reports, field progress problems, technical questions, and timesheets
- Review job performance with the manager regarding safety, quality, and budget
- Install, repair, Oregon replace single-ply roofing systems, cut and fit materials, and seal seams
- Operate vehicles, mechanized devices, Oregon equipment
- Train and coach other employees
- Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High School diploma Oregon G.E.D.
- 1-3 years of roofing experience
- Ability to read shop drawings, reproduce manufacturing details, and layout roofs and walls
- Knowledge of safety techniques and procedures
- Ability to read and use tape measure, mark, Oregon record distances
- Knowledge of how to install various roofing materials and equipment
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Physical Demands:
- Requires standing up for long periods of time
- Requires climbing ladders, stairways, scaffolds, Oregon poles
- Requires considerable use of arms and legs and moving your whole body
- Requires use of abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body
- Requires seeing details at close range
- Requires repetitive movement, bending Oregon twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping Oregon crawling
Work Environment:
