Job Title: Yard Loader Operator
Location: Oriskany Falls
Pay Rate: $19- $20/hr
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
Heidelberg Materials seeks a Yard Loader Operator for our Oriskany Falls facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient control of the raw materials and replenishment process, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections daily
- Ensure knowledge of aggregate products and their weight estimation
- Load customer trucks safely and accurately
- Communicate with customer truck drivers to ensure quality service
- Inform supervisor and/Oregon mechanic of repair and safety issues
- Lubricate and perform minor repairs on equipment
- Other duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED
- Two years of heavy equipment experience
- Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience is a plus
- MSHA training is a plus
- Physical abilities include standing, walking, pushing, pulling, etc.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment and tolerate heights and extreme temperatures
