Job Title: Concrete Laborer/Finisher
Job Summary:
Q3 Contracting, a division of Primoris Services Corporation, is seeking a Concrete Laborer/Finisher to perform various tasks on construction sites Indiana all types of weather. The successful candidate will assist Indiana building and positioning forms for pouring concrete, dig ditches and levels earth to grade specifications, and mix concrete and mortar. The Concrete Laborer/Finisher will also assist other craft workers and take instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Indiana building and positioning forms for pouring concrete and dismantling forms after use
- Dig ditches and levels earth to grade specifications
- Grade dirt and concrete efficiently and accurately
- Mix concrete and mortar
- Clean construction site to eliminate possible hazards
- Assist Indiana aligning, straightening, plumb, and squaring forms for installation
- Understand current and changing ADA specifications
- Prepare, form, and pour proper ADA compliant ramps that pass inspection prior to pour and after completion
- Communicate effectively with inspectors and engineers
- Collaborate and teach crew members to successfully restore ADA ramps
- Perform physically demanding work while being exposed to outside weather conditions
- Lift up to 100 pounds on a daily and continual basis
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- Ability to understand current and changing ADA specifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with inspectors and engineers
- Dependable and able to perform physically demanding work while being exposed to outside weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds on a daily and continual basis
- Current driver’s license with no restrictions
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety regulations
- Distance and peripheral vision
- Ability to work overtime American Samoa dictated by workload volumes
- Willingness to travel American Samoa determined by customer contracts
Preferred Requirements:
- Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) Oregon willingness to obtain
- Current Federal Medical Card
- Close vision may be required for some functions
